Some super foods to be must-added in your kid’s daily food habits


One of the toughest tasks in the world is maintaining proper diet for kids. The kids do thousands of tantrums not to eat food (such as my stomach is aching today, I am not feel like having anything, my stomach is full, I do not like this food, I want something else to eat etc.) at the dining table. Parents do lot of efforts to feed their kids. They should try these super foods making it little more interesting for your kids to provide better nutrition.

Some super foods to be must-added in your kid’s daily food habits


Eggs

Egg is high proteins contain food. It is a must-added food in kids’ diet because it has high concentration of choline, a nutrient that is highly important for the development of brain in kids. Parents do not need to give much efforts to make eggs more interesting as it tastes good and kids also like it. 

Fish

Fish is no doubt a super food to make your kids’ heart strong and stable nervous system. Fish is a rich source of omega 3 fatty acids, vitamin D, iodine and unsaturated fat. Omega 3 fatty acids present in fish helps in fighting against depression, improves mental skills, lowers inflammation and protects against Alzheimer’s disease & dementia. 

Oatmeal

Oats includes a soluble fiber known as beta glucan that helps in lowering the cholesterol re-absorption. Oatmeals are actually whole grains that have the benefits of natural vitamins and minerals. Oatmeals improve the concentration level in kids. As oatmeals are rich source of fibers, hence it digests slowly and provides high energy level to kids.

Quinoa

This is a wonder food because it contains the building blocks of our life that means all the 9 amino acids. You should add this to your little ones diet and help him/her to live healthy & actively. The amino acids help in burning fat, minimizing fatigue, boosting mental focus, improving muscle growth etc. The amino acids also help in improving the metabolic health along with minimizing the blood sugar & triglyceride levels. 

Basil

Basil is a good source of antioxidants, vitamins A, C & K and also some of the minerals such as potassium, iron & calcium. Basil works awesome on digestion and also gives relief in headaches.

Spinach

Spinach is a miracle food for kids because it contains many valuable nutrients. It is a good source of calcium, vitamin A & C, iron and folic acids. Spinach works excellent on bone growth & brain, restores energy, boosting vitality and improves the blood quality.

Yogurt

Yogurt is full of calcium and protein. Yogurt helps in making the bones and teeth of your kids much stronger. It also improves the digestive system of your kid and fight against bad bacteria in their gut. Parents can make yogurt more interesting by adding fruits into it.

Sweet potato

Sweet potatoes are rich source of potassium, vitamins C, calcium, fiber, iron, folate and vitamin A. Regular consumption of sweet potato will helps in strengthening the eyesight, immune system of your kids. It also helps your kids’ heart & muscles in functioning properly. 

Whole grains

We all know that whole grains are enriched with nutrients such as fiber, antioxidants, proteins and vitamins B etc. Whole grains are also packed with minerals such as zinc, magnesium, iron and copper. Regular consumption of whole grains will help you kids in minimizing the risk of heart diseases, obesity, type 2 diabetes and some of the forms of cancer. 

Berries

Berries means strawberries, blueberries and raspberries, are valuable package of various important nutrients such as vitamin C, antioxidants, potassium, fiber and carbohydrates. Berries contain low fat and no cholesterol. Parents should add berries in your kids’ daily food habits because it helps in lowering the blood pressure level and also protects against UV damages.
