Let us try to know the food which parents should add in their hyperactive kids’ diet.
ü Banana
Banana is a great source of protein which gives energy to your kid throughout the day. Breakfast is the first and very important meal of the day, hence it should be rich in protein content. Make sure that your kid will have banana in breakfast because it will fix his/her attention deficit. If your kid doesn’t like banana, you can modify it into smoothie to give an impressive look.
ü Milk
As everyone known, milk is an excellent source of calcium. Calcium supports cell membranes and aids the nervous system that helps in developing the behavior of your kid. Milk is also packed with magnesium which has calming effects on nervous system and helps in normal functioning of your kids’ muscles and nerves. Make sure you add milk to your kids’ everyday diet.
ü Leafy green vegetables
Leafy green vegetables such as spinach, broccolis etc. are good source of vitamin B. Vitamin B helps in developing the neural activities and reducing stress in your kid. Some other rich sources of vitamin B are rice, milk, meats, fruits, soya, whole grains cereals & breads, nuts, eggs, fishes etc. Add green vegetables to your kids’ diet.
ü Nuts
Nuts are rich in omega-3 fatty acids that give calming effects to your kid. You should add nuts such as almonds, walnuts, cashew etc. to your kids’ diet to stay him/her healthy & fit.
ü Oranges
Oranges are packed up with vitamin C and potassium that gives calming effects to your hyperactive kid. Strawberries and blueberries are also good sources of vitamin C and antioxidants. These fruits help to prevent a boost in cortisol (the stress hormone), secreted by adrenal gland. Do not fail to add oranges in your kids’ diet.
