Oolong tea is made from the same plant which is used to prepare green tea and black tea. The name of this plant is Camellia sinensis. The oolong tea is prepared from the buds,
leaves and stems of this plant. Now you may think that if green tea, black tea and oolong tea all are prepared from same plant then what the difference in these teas is. The difference in these teas is only the process of making. Black tea is prepared by fully fermented process, oolong tea is prepared by partially fermented process and green tea is prepared by unfermented process. Caffeine is present in oolong tea which performs by stimulating heart, muscles and CNS. Oolong tea has two more chemicals like caffeine present in it, namely theophylline and theobromine.
Process of making Oolong tea

However oolong tea can be prepared within few minutes by following some simple steps given below.
To start with the process, take some water in kettle and let it boil. By the time rinse and warm up the tea set. Now add few leaves of oolong tea into the teapot, so that it occupies almost 5% space in the pot. After this just pour the boiled water into the tea pot. You have to push away white colored floating bubbles with the help of its lid that are observed on the top. Now cover the tea pot with lid for some time and let it be steep. The tea is ready for drink. Pour the tea into tea cups and serve your family or guests to taste & smell its marvelous aroma.
